Is that the order of publication?

Great cover! Do we get to order an addition that is actually leather bound with the little brass trim pieces on the corners? *g*

That would be lovely. Maybe a small press would love to do a limited edition....

Hey anyone interested??????

Dude.

That looks fantastic.

Wonderful. Thanks to you, et al!

Can't wait 'til it's available!

That really does look amazing. Eeee!

a FANTASTIC cover!! I'm sure it will be a great book too.

I'm very happy with it. And the publisher actually gave me a choice of which photo of Lovecraft to go with: the usual one or this, which is him a bit younger, and a little less often used.

What, no Jeff Ford or Lucius Shepard?! It's not a Datlow anthology without at least one of those two!

All right, I'll buy it anyway. ;)

Jeff P.

Nope. Neither of them were inspired to be squamous, even without tentacles ;-)

That is a really terrific cover!

Isn't it? I hope Howie isn't be rolling over in his grave :-)

chabon and oats and a lovely cover!

Don't you dare call Joyce Oats :-) tsk tsk --I know it's a typo!

Looking forward to reading it!

Looks beautiful and a great TOC. Looking forward to it.

Ooh, shiny! This looks right up my aisle, as my friend's German mom often says...

These are exactly the kinds of responses I like to hear :-)

Lovecraft died in 1937. The Amazon description says '35.

Looking forward to the book!

Wonderful cover, great selection of stories!

that is one hell of a line up.

It looks marvelous, Ellen! I can't wait to read it!

Full disclosure: there are four reprints--those by
Joyce Carol Oates
Michael Chabon
Caitlin R. Kiernan
Brian Evenson

Gorgeous cover and great TOC. And I agree with those who hope this comes out in a Subterranean edition, complete with metal corners. This is what someone wrote to me about a current s.e. of theirs: "I've never really been a collector of books in the sense of hungering after the plushest editions and limited editions etc, but seeing this book, I can see the attraction. I can't stress how beautiful the book is ... In an age where quality counts for very little, I'm astonished at the quality...I wish you could see it. The paper is like a dream substance, of a thickness and texture that almost seems edible." Of course, if anyone puts out a special edition LOVECRAFT UNBOUND, the paper should give unspeakable dreams to anyone who eats it.

I suppose I could ask Bill if he's interested. I'd have to leave out the Chabon story though as I only have rights for the Dark Horse edition.

This looks amazing. Can't wait to get a copy.

Wonderful. And the lead-off spot! My first ever. :)

Congratulations!
Btw, your check went out today, along with everyone else's who haven't gotten paid yet.

Ooh lovely. Looking forward to it.
