- I've been editing short sf/f/h since 1980, when I was first Associate Fiction Editor, then later Fiction Editor of OMNI. Was there till around 1997 when the website closed down. Created Event Horizon: science fiction fantasy and horror, a fiction and nonfiction website with my former OMNI colleagues for about 1/1/2 years and then was editor of SCI FICTION, the fiction area of SCIFI.COM for about six years.
I edit original anthologies solo or with Terri Windling and currently edit the Best Horror of the Year for Night Shade.
I live in Manhattan and have an apartment full of doll parts, three-headed dolls, weird dolls, and books.
