We're looking for a local to volunteer to sell books at the readings. This is how it would work.

The volunteer would come to the Mobile Libris office to pick up books and supplies and get a brief tutorial on how to use the materials. S/he would sell the books and bring leftovers back the next day. In exchange for partnering with us to sell the book, the bookseller can receive a 40% discount off of books through Mobile Libris, any book, any time.

Jack O'Connell! I love his stuff. Has he written something new?

I think he may be working on something new. His Quinsigamond books have just been released as e-books for the first time though.

Will these ever happen on a Friday or Saturday? I was invited to read at one once, but I think the person inviting me didn't realize that I wasn't a local. I tried to game the bus schedule to make it in and out of the city without missing work, but it just wasn't to be.

I'm afraid they're always on the third Wednesday of the month. (I know you're not local and I suspect I was the one who invited you).

Nope, it was a male person who invited me. I think it was someone who no longer works on the readings.

It would have to have been Matt Kressel or Gavin Grant, who have worked with me since 2002--Matt took over from Gavin in 2008.
